Christmas Letter ~ Blogger Style

Merry Christmas from the Tommerdahls!

Rather than sending out a letter with our Christmas card, our postcard directs people here ~ so, whether you are a normal Tommerdahl-blog reader or just arrived here via our Christmas card, welcome to our blog!  Here is a little "year-in-review" blogger-style!

Summer is an outgoing, sweet, 4 years old who loves Jesus, her big sister role and is a great help to Mommy.  She loves playing "trip" with Colton, where they pack up their things and travel all over the house.  She is most often found drawing pictures or writing notes to people and decorates quite a stack of paper each day!  She also loves books, and will sit and be read to as long as someone is willing to read to her.  She is just learning to read beginner books with very little help.  She does preschool at home with Mommy, Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) on Wednesdays, and swimming lessons on Tuesdays.  She loved performing on stage in her first Christmas musical this year!

Colton is an energetic, spunky 2 year old who loves to be silly, make people laugh, and goof around.  He loves lining up his cars, running wherever he goes, Lightning McQueen the race car, and pickles!  He also has an amazing focus and perseverance that will have him sitting still for quite a while when doing things such as puzzles.  He is quite a chatterbox, just like his older sister, and he loves to tell me about everything!  He started swimming lessons this year and has overcome his fear of "putting his eyes in the water" and is now quite a little fish!  He is also is in BSF on Wednesdays where he is learning all about the life of Moses.  He loves competing with his older sister on who can do things fastest, and completely adores her and wants to be just like her.  He is incredibly sweet with his younger sister and his craziness always makes her smile!  Colton's 2-year-old antics keeps me on my toes...and laughing just the same!

Larkyn was born on July 1st and is such an easy-going and smiley baby!  We all adore her and her siblings love to smother her with love and attention as well as entertain her.  She is a great sleeper and eater and we couldn't be more grateful for the perfect "3rd child" she is for our family!

Tucker the dog has now been with us for 5 years and continues to have "puppy spunk"!  He lives for runs with Mommy and popcorn movie nights :).

Paul continues to work at Securian in St. Paul and I love staying home with the kids during the day and tutoring math two evenings a week.  Jesus is our Lord, and we love our church, Chapel Hill.  We especially love the group of couples/kids that we do life with regularly through Bible study and fellowship.  We are so blessed!
