Florida: Friday

I couldn't wait for today - the Twins game!

Even before I was born, Daddy would sing the Twins theme-song to me (he's kind of goofy...).  So to finally see a Twins game in person was a dream come true (possibly a slight exaggeration by the narrator...).

We're here!

Apparently this is what is called a baseball stadium.  Daddy says he's going to show me an even bigger one this summer back in Minnesota!

Not sure why everyone was so busy taking pictures - aren't we supposed to be watching the game?  (That's what I was doing, anyway!)

Here's another view of the stadium.  Cool, huh?

Mommy and Daddy wanted a picture with me - again, I was too busy checking everything else out - there is so much to look at!

Here I am trying to figure out if they should bunt the runner over to 2nd base or just try for a base hit.

Yay!  The Twins are winning!

Delmon Young hit a home run!

Sophia got to join me for the game - who knew they let giraffes into baseball games?
I was so engrossed in the game, I forgot that I had Sophia in my hand.  Daddy thinks this is about the funniest video he's seen in a while...

Just chilling with Grandpa!

Cheering on the home team!

Hmm...I'm not so sure about those home runs that Scott Baker gave up...

Who needs peanuts and Cracker Jack when you have Sophia?

This is me when I found out Nick Punto is no longer on the Twins roster.

My first experience with frozen strawberry lemonade - it's kind of sour!

At least the cup is fun to play with!

This game is getting really intense - I must cheer harder!

Auntie Kristin can barely contain the pent up excitement that is exploding out of my little body!
Or maybe I just really like plastic spoons?
The umpire blew a call at first base right after this - and I sure let him know!  (it was the 8th inning in a close game - how could I not tell him how I felt?)

Hanging with Daddy

Hey Daddy, where'd you get this hat?  Can I get one?

I think Daddy is almost as excited to be here as I am!

We have the 7th inning stretch - what about nap time?
The Twins won the game 6-5!
After the game, we headed outside and back to the car.  But we don't get very far without taking pictures in this family!

Daddy let me ride on his shoulders - I returned the favor by using his hat as a drum.

I'm still excited about that Twins win! (Or the strawberry lemonade).

Apparently my hand is really interesting.  Or something.

Isn't Mommy's hair cool?
I finally got Daddy's hat!

Well, maybe it's a bit big on me.

Daddy putting the hat on me - backwards!

That's not how it goes!

Hahaha!  Daddy doesn't know how to put on a hat!

Oh hi, Auntie Kristin!  Are you singing my song again?  Yay!

Auntie Kristin is lots of fun!

After the game, we went out for a Mexican dinner (I had more carrots, rice, and turkey - mmm!)  I had fun playing the game of dropping things over the edge of my high chair to see who would come pick it up!

Florida: Thursday

Sorry I've been a little slow to get these up - I've had quite the whirlwind of a couple of days!

Just like yesterday, I started my day in the pool - and this time, I had quite the crew to play with!

I really like the edge of the pool by the stairs.  I can stand on the second step and splash everyone around me!  I can even stand by myself for a while!

I also enjoyed spending time swimming with my family - they are great!

In the afternoon, we drove up to Captiva.  I was going to watch everyone go on the waverunners, but the water was too choppy.  But on the way, we had fun in the car!

Instead, we waited for a spot at the Mucky Duck restaurant.  While we were waiting, we played on the beach.  You can see (and hear) how choppy the water was!

Once at the famous restaurant, I had a nice meal of baby food (like lunch and dinner these days...).  This time, however, I got to "eat" my first bread!  Anyone who knows my mommy knows how much she LOVES bread - I think I might be a little bit like her!  (Auntie Kristin's photos)

Auntie Kristin also thinks I look like something called a Gerber baby and made a comparison - what do you think?

Florida: Wednesday

POOL DAY!!! Well, I didn't know what a pool was, but I soon found out that it's like an ENORMOUS bath tub - and Mommy and Daddy even joined me!

Mommy had to "catch" me - I was so excited to get in!

Look at how much fun I'm having!

I just might be enjoying this...

Can't stop smiling!

I absolutely LOVE standing on the step and splashing the water - I stood there forever!

Can I get any cuter?

Family picture!

Daddy and I swimming together!

Motor boat, motor boat go so FAST!

I giggle every time Daddy tosses me up in the air :)

Look at me - I pushed Daddy under water!

Kick kick kick kick!

Look at me - front and center!  :)

The family next to the even bigger bath tub!

Mommy and Daddy love me!

Look at Mommy!  Daddy always tells me I have a cute mommy!

Auntie Kristin takes her turn carrying me around the mini-golf course.

Daddy lines up his shot.

Gpa asks for advice on the next hole.

I'm pretty sure Gma only set me down long enough to take this picture!

Auntie Kristin in her stylish hat (not as stylish as mine, of course)

Gpa making a tough putt - he was great!

Now on to dinner - I sure love my mashed up solids!

Look at those desserts!  (apparently something else was more interesting to me, however).  Daddy gave me my first bites of ice cream and chocolate cake - mmm!!!

After another long (and messy) day, it was back to the spa.

I love having Sammy along for the trip - he's one of my favorite toys!

If only I'd known earlier in the week about the jets in the hot tub!

Off to bed - I love to cuddle with Mommy!
