Grandma and Grandpa Tommerdahl

Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Javonte came for a visit this past weekend and we had a blast!  On Friday, we met Daddy for lunch at Securian and Grandma and Grandpa got to see where he works.  While we all ate sloppy joes and cookies, Summer ate her applesauce and rice cereal--the first time since she started solids that she has eaten somewhere other than our house!

Then, while Paul went back to work, the rest of us drove up to Bethel to see where Auntie Sarah works.   We got a great tour!

Summer napped in the car on the way home, and was ready for some hard core playing with Grandma when we got back home, while Grandpa and I took Tucker and Bode to the dog park.  Paul met up with us back at the house and we made pizza for dinner.  After Summer and Uncle Javonte went to bed, the four of us had an intense game of Skip-bo!

On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa got to babysit Summer while Paul had a Leadership Conference at church and I got my miles in (I've been training for the Minneaplis Marathon...it was a 12 mile day).   We all had lunch together (I've been perfecting my recipe for chicken noodle soup, and Paul said that it was the best I've ever made it...YAY!) and then the boys took the dogs to the dog park while we gals and Javonte went for a walk (it was above 30 degrees!)

Uncle Ty and Auntie Sarah joined us for Chicken Alfredo and Grandma's amazing new honey wheat bread recipe (mmmmm!).  It was great to just hang out with everyone and get caught up!

After church and Famous Dave's, Grandma and Grandpa started their long journey up north due to the VERY ice-y roads.

We had a really fun weekend :).

Here are some picture that Grandpa took of Summer.  He has always done a good job of capturing her (he took the picture that we sent out as her birth announcement).  So here is a little 7 month photo shoot done by Grandpa Tommerdahl.

Here are some more pictures and video from the weekend.
Summer has both her daddy's and her grandma's blue eyes.
Look how big I am getting, Grandpa!
I like playing with Grandma!
