This past weekend, my mom, sister, and I took a quick 30 hour round trip get away to Chicago (including 14 hours of driving!) to help host my cousin Amanda's baby shower. It was so much fun to see everyone! We four cousins (in picture below) grew up together, taking swimming and piano lessons together and hanging out a ton. Now, it is really fun to welcome each others babies into the world! Amanda is due with a baby girl just 9 days before our little boy is due!

Other things we have been up to this week:
*A trip to the zoo where Summer loved watching the dolphin show and climbing through the tunnels!
*Lots of "Where's Waldo" action (Summer can find Waldo on all 12 pages in under a minute and a half, averaging just over 5 seconds per page! (Where's Waldo was a Christmas gift from Summer's Great Grandparents on the Kirkwood side and has always been a Kirkwood favorite!).
*Our first outdoor picnic lunch and park date for the spring!

Fun post! When I've been with Summer recently, I have been amazed at how quickly she finds Waldo. She's a sharp one! :) And, yes, great job with Summer's hair while Kel was gone, Paul!
