Even before I was born, Daddy would sing the Twins theme-song to me (he's kind of goofy...). So to finally see a Twins game in person was a dream come true (possibly a slight exaggeration by the narrator...).
We're here! |
Apparently this is what is called a baseball stadium. Daddy says he's going to show me an even bigger one this summer back in Minnesota! |
Not sure why everyone was so busy taking pictures - aren't we supposed to be watching the game? (That's what I was doing, anyway!) |
Here's another view of the stadium. Cool, huh? |
Mommy and Daddy wanted a picture with me - again, I was too busy checking everything else out - there is so much to look at! |
Here I am trying to figure out if they should bunt the runner over to 2nd base or just try for a base hit. |
Yay! The Twins are winning! |
Delmon Young hit a home run! |
Sophia got to join me for the game - who knew they let giraffes into baseball games? |
Just chilling with Grandpa! |
Cheering on the home team! |
Hmm...I'm not so sure about those home runs that Scott Baker gave up... |
Who needs peanuts and Cracker Jack when you have Sophia? |
This is me when I found out Nick Punto is no longer on the Twins roster. |
My first experience with frozen strawberry lemonade - it's kind of sour! |
At least the cup is fun to play with! |
This game is getting really intense - I must cheer harder! |
Auntie Kristin can barely contain the pent up excitement that is exploding out of my little body! |
Or maybe I just really like plastic spoons? |
Hanging with Daddy |
Hey Daddy, where'd you get this hat? Can I get one? |
I think Daddy is almost as excited to be here as I am! |
We have the 7th inning stretch - what about nap time? |
The Twins won the game 6-5!
After the game, we headed outside and back to the car. But we don't get very far without taking pictures in this family!
Daddy let me ride on his shoulders - I returned the favor by using his hat as a drum. |
I'm still excited about that Twins win! (Or the strawberry lemonade). |
Apparently my hand is really interesting. Or something. |
Isn't Mommy's hair cool? |
I finally got Daddy's hat! |
Well, maybe it's a bit big on me. |
Daddy putting the hat on me - backwards! |
That's not how it goes! |
Hahaha! Daddy doesn't know how to put on a hat! |
Oh hi, Auntie Kristin! Are you singing my song again? Yay! |
Auntie Kristin is lots of fun! |
After the game, we went out for a Mexican dinner (I had more carrots, rice, and turkey - mmm!) I had fun playing the game of dropping things over the edge of my high chair to see who would come pick it up!
