Happy 15 months Colton!

Hard to believe our little guys is now a quarter through his 2nd year of life!  Wow, time flies.  He is getting more and more fun every day!  He is so smiley and giggly, which is one of my favorite traits about him!  I can make him laugh just about any time I try.  He is pretty easygoing and happy almost all the time.  He is pretty obedient and hasn't tried to test the rules too much yet.  He still naps twice a day at 10am and 2pm, and sleeps at night from 8pm-8am.  He is starting to learn a few words. 

Currently his word list includes:
-CAH-Ker (Tucker)
-CAH-Ker (Soccer ball)
-CAH-Ker (Cracker)
-Up (When he wants to be picked up)
-Hat
-DA-da (Used in general for any big person of close acquaintance like Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, or Grandpa)
-GoGoBoBo (One of his favorite books)
-Kuk (Truck)
-Cookie
-Dat (What's That?)

He can also make several sound effects.  When asked what a Duck, Cow, Dog, or Tiger says, he can respond "Kak, Kak" (Quack Quack), "Ooooooh" (MOOOOOO), "Uf-Uf" (Woof Woof), and "Grrrrrrrrr".   He also says "Vrrrrrrm" when he drives a car around.  

He continues to love anything with wheels, all types of balls, water, his blue monkey blankie, and his Mommy :-). 

His favorite foods include cheeseburgers and any type of meat, as well as goldfish crackers and oreo cookies.

In the past few months he has learned to help out around the house.  He puts his laundry away each night, he will throw away garbage in the waste basket when asked, he will clean up his toys when we sing the clean-up song (he will put things back where they go even if the toy comes from a different room!), and he loves to "sweep" as the next video shows :-).



Each night the four of us sing Skinna-marinki-dinky-dink, and Colton will now walk and clap and spin while we sing.  Grandma caught this video of him dancing while we were at the cabin and it is similar to what he does each night....



 Colton, at 15 months you are the most cuddly, giggly, happy, adorable little toddler and I couldn't love you more!
