Learning Letters
Summer has been enjoying puzzles lately, especially her alphabet and number puzzles. As we put the letters and numbers in the puzzles, we always say their names. The last two weeks or so, Summer has been noticing letters as they appear elsewhere, such as signs on the road/restaurants, in books, the refrigerator magnet letters, on cereal boxes, etc. This morning while we were eating breakfast, she was getting confused with the letter "A" and the number "4" as they appeared on our cereal box, so I went to our refrigerator magnets to show her the difference between the two. She smiled as it seemed to make sense once she saw the two next to each other. We then decided to work on the letters that are in her name. Here is a short video clip. Enjoy!
