Happy 3rd Birthday, Summer! - Extended Family Party

Since Summer's birthday was on a Saturday this year, we had her family party right on her actual birthday!  We are SO incredibly blessed to have such amazing grandparents, aunts, and uncles that love our kids so much, pray for them, and play with them.  I honestly cannot describe how blessed I feel as I write this!  Thank you to all of you for all you do for our kiddos!  WE LOVE YOU!

Once everyone arrived, we did presents.  The one things Summer wanted MOST OF ALL this year for her birthday was as piggy bank, and she often asked if I thought she would get one!  She got a really cute one from Grandma and Grandpa T, along with some coins to put in it!  She was pretty excited!!!

Another hit was a sticker book full of construction equipment, such as diggers, excavators, cranes and more!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Kirkwood!

Also from Grandma and Grandpa K, she got a little camera that actually takes digital pictures!  She ran all over taking pictures of everyone :)

Uncle Ty and Auntie Sarah gave her a Lite Bright set (I used to love playing with that when I was a kid!)

Summer got cute clothes from Aunt Nancy and from GeeGee Sandy!

Sweet helmet from Auntie Kristin and Uncle Eric!!
Summer has always loved talking about what day/month it is, what is happening today/tomorrow, etc so she especially loved putting together the big calendar Grandma and Grandpa T gave her!

After presents, we grilled hotdogs
Summer helped put a party hat at each place setting

Colton got to read with Auntie Kristin

Summer picked hotdogs, macaroni and cheese, chips, french fries, and watermelon for her birthday meal!

Summer blew out the candles all by herself!
Here is a little video of us singing to her:

Colton sure enjoyed his cupcake!
After lunch, everyone went outside to play.  The kids loved having so many fun grandparents, aunts, and uncles to play with!

Waiting for "mail" from mailman Grandpa from inside the playhouse :)
After the party, Grandma and Grandpa T babysat while Paul and I went to my 10 year high school reunion, which unfortunately was scheduled on Summer's birthday!  The kids had a blast with their grandparents, GeeGee Sandy, and Uncle Javonte!

Silly boy!

We love Grandpa T!
