Texas

We took the week after Christmas and headed down to warm, sunny South Padre Island with the Kirkwood side!  It was absolutely beautiful.  We stayed in a house right on the beach, which made for gorgeous views as well as amazing walking/running/shelling/sandcastle building/biking just outside our house.  Highlights of our trip included being with family and the weather, as well as visiting a turtle rescue, going on a pirate cruise, taking sandcastle lessons, flying kites, biking along the beach, going mini golfing/go-karting, and eating lots of seafood!
