For Christmas this year I asked for pulls and hinges for our kitchen cabinets, and paint! Then, I used Christmas break to paint them!
Here are some BEFORE pictures:

the old hinges .....the previous owner didn't take them off when he primed and painted the cabinets, so they looked pretty messy! |

Summer helped me mark the cabinets with numbered post-its before we took them all off to paint them, so that we would know which doors went where! |

The new color of the cabinets is called "Teddy Bear Tan". It is a light caramel color. The new pulls and hinges are brushed bronze. |
Here are the "after" pictures.
Just for fun, I went back and found the pictures we took of our kitchen when we were looking at our house before we moved in. Then I took 3 pictures from the same angles. It is fun to see the difference from our three projects: building the island, redoing the floor, and painting the cabinets.

WOW!!! I love it!! The cabinets look amazing! Good work, Kel :)
Kel it looks SOOOOOO good!!! Can't wait to see it in person!!!
I had the blessing of seeing the "new" kitchen in person yesterday! Wow, I was blown away. I knew I would like it, but I totally LOVED it. The caramel color is so warm, clean and it brightens the room. The new hardware really pops! Truly a remarkable makeover. And, I hear a few more smaller changes are in the works. :) I'm so proud of you, Kelly!!
Looks SO good Kelly! I'm impressed!
Summer must have done a great job helping put on the post-it notes...all the cabients appear to be in the right places ;)
