Family Party

Today we got to celebrate Colton's 1st birthday with the Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, and Uncles!  Colton is so blessed to have such fun, loving, godly and prayerful extended family members, I am so grateful!  Here are a few pictures of our day.

The first thing Summer did when anyone walked in the door, was shout: "Come see the cake!"  She was pretty excited about it and helped mommy make it :-)

My 1st Birthday, by Colton Paul

Hi guys!  I turned 1 today!  I had a very fun day.  I got to play a lot and even go to the zoo!  Mommy made a video for me so when I am bigger we can remember my birthday and what I liked to do when I turned 1.  You can watch it here!

Today is the day, last year, where we met Colton Paul! The last two days I have been reminiscing a lot...

remembering the fun of telling our families that Summer was going to be a big sister....
remembering the excitement of finding out he was a boy...
remembering the joy of meeting him...
remembering the fussiness and the amazing power of a hairdryer in calming our little guy....
remembering scary bout with RSV he had and his time in the ER
remembering how he has grown from a baby to a toddler.....
