Cabin Weekend

This past weekend we enjoyed a weekend at Grandma and Grandpa K's cabin, along with Auntie Kristin, Uncle Eric, and Teddy.  We had fun playing at the beach, riding in the boats, fishing, waterskiing, going to a rodeo, playing games, running, biking, kayaking, swimming, playing in the sand, eating good food, celebrating Larkyn's 3rd birthday, going to church, and just being together.  We headed up to the cabin on Thursday evening, and had a little hiccup when we realized we forgot to put Colton's suitcase in the car (it was still siting in his room...all packed!)  My mom, sister, and I ran to Shop-Ko and got a few necessary items for Colton, and it ended up working out fine!  Here are a few pictures:

We celebrated Larkyn's July 1 birthday with the Kirkwood side while we were at the cabin!

She has also LOVED playing with her owl puzzle and Magnatiles.  Grandma and Grandpa gave Larkyn a membership to the children's museum so we could go this fall when Summer and Colton are in school.  I know she will love it!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa K!!

Fun Uncle Eric took the kids tubing all morning!  Summer and Colton LOVED it!

Larkyn and I went kayaking :)

Both kids tried getting up on skiis.  Uncle Eric helped teach them, and also Eric took Colton skiing on his lap to help him get the feel of it.  That was pretty cool!  Thanks Uncle Eric!  I bet within a few years they will be skiing on their own thanks to your help in getting them started!

It was very tricky, and they both ate a lot of water, but I was proud of them for trying!

I love this picture of Daddy and Larkyn from the rodeo (which was a blast!)  Loo fell asleep in the car and slept through the beginning of the rodeo in Daddy's arms!

One of my favorite parts was just watching the three kids have so much fun playing together!

They worked the better part of one afternoon digging the biggest hole they could!

 We had such a wonderful weekend!  Thank you for hosting us, Grandma and Grandpa, and for all the delicious food!  We love you!!!!!
