Easter

He is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!

Our Easter weekend was full of many wonderful things!  On Friday evening, we went to the Good Friday service at our church, which was a great way to remember Christ's death before the joyous celebration on Sunday.

On Saturday, we did a little Easter egg hunt at our house.  This year we put coins in the eggs.  Each kid had their own colors of eggs to look for.  Summer's pink and purple eggs were well hidden!  Colton's blue and green eggs were slightly hidden.  Larkyn's eggs were orange and yellow, scattered in the middle of the yard :).   Daddy was the Easter bunny...

After Larkyn's nap, we headed out to Auntie Sarah and Uncle Ty's house for dinner for a Tommerdahl Easter celebration.  Summer loved helping Auntie Sarah!

While there, Grandma hid eggs for the kids!

On Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa Kirkwood joined us for church.

 and then we met up with Auntie Kristin and Uncle Eric for lunch.

We all came back to our house for ice cream sundaes and Grandma K made/hid clues all over the house to lead to the Easter baskets :). 

Here are a few attempts at taking a sibling Easter picture...so tricky getting everyone smiling and looking at these ages!

We are so grateful for Christ's sacrifice on the cross, and his resurrection, so that we can live with him in eternity!  Happy Easter!
