Pictures

I like to take the kids to JCPennies for portraits on milestone birthdays.  This month Larkyn is 9 months and Colton will be 3, so I brought the gang in for pictures on Monday.  We also took a few sibling shots and a few of Summer just for fun :).  Here are my favorites:

Here are a few sibling outtakes...some of them make me laugh!  Tricky to get 3 kiddos 4 and under to all look and smile...;)

Easter

He is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!

Our Easter weekend was full of many wonderful things!  On Friday evening, we went to the Good Friday service at our church, which was a great way to remember Christ's death before the joyous celebration on Sunday.

On Saturday, we did a little Easter egg hunt at our house.  This year we put coins in the eggs.  Each kid had their own colors of eggs to look for.  Summer's pink and purple eggs were well hidden!  Colton's blue and green eggs were slightly hidden.  Larkyn's eggs were orange and yellow, scattered in the middle of the yard :).   Daddy was the Easter bunny...

Here is a video of the kids before they headed out...

After Larkyn's nap, we headed out to Auntie Sarah and Uncle Ty's house for dinner for a Tommerdahl Easter celebration.  Summer loved helping Auntie Sarah!

While there, Grandma hid eggs for the kids!

Larkyn chilled with Daddy, Uncle Ty, and Walter.

Then we colored eggs!

On Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa Kirkwood joined us for church.

and then we met up with Auntie Kristin and Uncle Eric for lunch.

We all came back to our house for ice cream sundaes and Grandma K made/hid clues all over the house to lead to the Easter baskets :).

Here are a few attempts at taking a sibling Easter picture...so tricky getting everyone smiling and looking at these ages!

Daddy fits right in wearing Larkyn's bow as a bow tie!

We are so grateful for Christ's sacrifice on the cross, and his resurrection, so that we can live with him in eternity!  Happy Easter!

New Things for Us - 3 Videos

Larkyn learned to feed herself this week.

Colton learned how to pedal, and thus ride a bike, this week.

Summer continues to progress in reading, and reads with dramatic flair.

I'll post some Easter pictures soon :)
