Trailer Weekend with Tommerdahls

After the girls theater production and Colton's skyhawk tournament, we left town for a Tommerdahl family weekend with Grandma and Grandpa T, Javonte, Uncle Ty, Auntie Sarah, and Uncle Jordan.  We got to see Gee Gee Sandy too!  Our original plan was to go camping, but huge thunderstorms had us go with plan B, staying at Grandma and Grandpa's trailer.  Despite the rainy weather we had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone, playing games, going to the sandbar during our sunny Saturday afternoon weather, playing frisbee, getting toes nibbled by fish (the kids loved this!), and of course eating LOTS of good food :).  I did not do a good job taking pictures but I will share a few the Grandma took.

The kids loved these inflated airplanes complete with water guns!  They had a good time teasing Grandpa and having a big water fight with him down at the lake :):)

Theater and Sports Camp

The kids each had morning camps the first week of summer.  The girls chose to do a theater camp with Larkyn's dance teacher's daughter, Eva.  They learned the plays "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" (Summer and Larkyn shared the narrator role) and "The Three Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf" (Summer was Mama Pig and Larkyn was Baby Pig).  Both girls love to act and be on stage and they loved the camp so much!  Colton did a sports camp learning skills in soccer, t-ball, and basketball, which was a fantastic way for him to be outside and get some energy out!  Here are a few pictures and videos:

Obermayer Family Reunion - Chicago

The first weekend after school was out we took a trip to Chicago for a family reunion with my mom's side of the family.  We had so much fun swimming in the hotel pool, going to the park, going bowling, going to chuckee cheese, eating lots of good food, and connecting with family we see only twice a year.  My uncle does a fantastic job planning this each year and has sends out a schedule that includes where and when each meal is, what activities are planned in between, and even planning a large family devotional.  All we have to do is show up and enjoy the family time!  Thanks Uncle Paul!  My mom does a fantastic job of capturing the weekend in pictures.  It is really fun to have these memories.  Thanks, mom!  Here are a few pictures she took/organized.

We love you all and had a fantastic weekend!
