Soccer

We had quite the fan club at the kids' soccer game on Thursday...Grandma and Grandpa T and Javonte drove all the wayfrom Fergus Falls!  Also cheering on Summer and Colton were Auntie Madison, Uncle Jordan, Auntie Sarah, Uncle Ty, and even their dog Walter!  Wow, what a fun cheering section for our little soccer players!  We are so blessed with such supportive family :).

Another bonus was that Grandpa T brought his nice camera and took a lot of fun action shots of the kids!  I have typically been so busy with Larkyn or chatting with other fans that I haven't taken many photos of the kids, so I appreciated the large stash of great pictures Grandpa T sent my way after Thursday's game.  He even caught pictures of Summer's first goal!  (Side note: Colton scored his first goal the week prior, but I was home with a sick Summer that night and missed it).  Anyway, thanks Grandpa T for these pictures!

Summer Kindergarten Graduation

Summer had her kindergarten graduation today.  She still has one more week of school, however their program was this afternoon.  This year has flown!  I totally remember her first day - and it does not seem that long ago! Here is a picture of her on her first day of school, and another this morning.  Crazy how she has grown so much, but I didn't realize it until I compared these two pictures!

She LOVED her teacher Mrs. Davis
We were SO blessed with all the family that came, including Grandma T taking off work and driving 7 hours in one day just to come!  We are so grateful for ALL of you (pictured and not pictured) who pour into Summer's life through care, love, and prayer.  We love you!
Summer and Laney, a very special friend, neighbor, and classmate whom we have "done life with" this year!

There were 5 classes of kindergartners (over 100 kids) performing several songs together.

We picked a special "rainbow" graduation cake for Summer

Thank you all for coming to celebrate and support our baby girl.  We love you!
This Mama is SO excited and counting down the days (5 more!) til her biggest baby is home again ALL SUMMER LONG!  Wahooooo! :)

Memorial Day Weekend

Fishing with Grandpa!
We spent Memorial Day Weekend at Paul's parents trailer on West Battle Lake.  Grandma and Grandpa T went above and beyond, making the kids favorite meals, bringing along all sorts of fun games and toys for the kids to play, getting up early with Larkyn and letting Mommy and Daddy sleep in a bit, sharing their boat with us, etc!  Although the first two days were chilly, the final day was perfect and sunny!  The kids had SO much fun and were so sad to leave :).  Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

This blow up airplane was awesome!  It even had a squirt gun that connected to a tube under the plane so you never had to fill it!

Grandma and Grandpa got in the chilly lake and pushed the kids around on the big alligator and airplane while Paul and I agreed the water was too cold for us!  Super grandparents!

Grandma and Grandpa found kids' four wheeler - Colton wanted to ride again and again!!!

Summer's turn!

Larkyn showing off her new (used) flip flops that Auntie Madison found thrifting.  SO CUTE!

Counting the flowers on Larkyns flip flops :)

I LOVE this picture!  Don't they look alike here?

Kopel and Wyatt came to play on Sunday!

Blondies!

The family resemblance between Larkyn and Kopel is almost uncanny!

The kids found 20+ clams in the lake and were so excited!

Couldn't post pictures of the weekend without including one of Larkyn on the potty.  Note to self...do NOT potty train a toddler the week before leaving town ;).  Even thought I packed all of our underwear, she had so many accidents I had to do laundry in the campground laundry facility!  She did NOT want to stop and go potty - too many fun things to do at the campground I guess!  Thankfully, when she returned home she is doing just fine again (only one accident total in the two days we have been home).  Life with this one is definitely interesting - she sure is a spark plug personality!!!!

This picture is so cute!

Love this!!!!

Thank you for everything, Grandma and Grandpa T!  We love you!
