Hilton Head

My parents rented a house in Hilton Head, South Carolina and we had a fantastic week of being together with family and doing vacation things.  We arrived on Saturday and the kids were quick to jump in the pool!  Each morning we had an outing, and then came home in the afternoon for pool time (for the oldest 3 cousins) and naps (for the youngest two cousins).  We went to a park on Sunday, went to an indoor park on Monday (while it poured rain), went mini-golfing Tuesday, went to the beach Wednesday, went on an alligator tour Thursday, went to a nature preserve and historical center Friday, and had a final beach day on Saturday, before flying home on Sunday.  After the kids went to bed we chatted, took turns holding baby Charlie, and played Dominos.  We had so much fun being together!  Here are some pictures....

So many fun memories!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa K for hosting us all!  The activities were a blast, the weather was fantastic, the "get-away" from schedules was amazing, and being all together was such a blessing.

More Celebrating Colton!

As I wrote in our last post, a blizzard prevented Colton from having his final birthday celebration in April, so the lucky boy got to celebrate again this past weekend when Grandma and Grandpa T came!

SO. MUCH. LOVE!   Thank you all for loving on our 6 year old in so many ways.  He is beyond blessed to have you in his life!  We love you!

Blizzard!

We are having the craziest winter storm this weekend, complete with freezing rain, hail, thunder and lightning, and tons of SNOW!  Almost all our snow was melted before this storm, so all that you see in these pictures accumulated over the course of this weekend.  And it is still snowing as I write this!  Paul and the kids made a giant hill out of snow to sled on.
