April and May

April and May flew by, busy with school, sports, concerts, meets, birthdays, and more!  Here are a few highlights:

Colton's Birthday

Colton is officially a teenager!  His 13th birthday was fun!  On April 10, he got breakfast in bed (donuts) and picked brats for dinner.  He got a silent basketball and a shared gift between Grandma and Grandpa T and us - a basketball hoop!  He also celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa K and got a Loons jersey.  His celebration with friends was a Settlers of Catan birthday party.  Colton has grown up so much this year.  He is officially taller than Summer, and his voice is much lower.  He is such an amazing kid, and I couldn't be more proud of the man he is growing into.

Sports

Soccer has been a huge portion of our spring, including Colton's out of town tournament in Kansas city, and lots of practices and games.  He loves the sport!  Summer loved track this year.  She ran the 4x800, open 800, 1 mile, and 2 mile.  She improved so much and PR-ed at almost every meet as she continued to learn.  Larkyn continues to attend gymnastics practice, though her next meet season won't start until fall.

Tiger's Birthday

Larkyn made sure that Tiger felt very celebrated for his first birthday!

And, just for fun, I will add some more Tiger picture from the last few weeks here.  Tiger gets photographed almost daily!

Concerts

May was full of band and choir concerts!

Colton - new job

Colton studied to get his referee certificate and has now refereed quite a few games!  It is a great source of income and he loves soccer.

Track and Field Day and Larkyn's Last Day of Elementary School

Paul and I volunteered at our LAST elementary track and field day, as Larkyn will now be entering middle school.  Larkyn rocked the static arm hang with her strong gymnastics muscles!

Paul turns 40!

Paul's 40th Birthday Trip!

Paul and I went on trip over Memorial Day weekend to Joshua Tree, CA, to celebrate Paul's 40th birthday!  It was an amazing trip full of quality time, hiking, and having fun together.  We stayed at the most amazing place in the middle of the desert!

Memorial Day - Kids

While Paul and I were in Joshua Tree, CA, the kids had fun with Grandma and Grandpa K!

Happy Summer!
